UAE mediates successful exchange of 350 captives

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has successfully mediated a new exchange of war captives between Russia and Ukraine. This latest exchange involved 175 captives from each side, totaling 350. The overall number of captives exchanged through UAE efforts now stands at 3,233. The UAE's Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed gratitude to both Russia and Ukraine for their cooperation. This cooperation highlights the important role the UAE plays in helping resolve the ongoing conflict between the two countries. This recent exchange marks the thirteenth successful mediation by the UAE. The Ministry noted that it reflects the strong relationships the UAE has with both nations. Additionally, the UAE reaffirmed its commitment to find peaceful solutions to the conflict and to address the humanitarian needs arising from it, including those of refugees and captives.
