UBS restricts remote work to weekdays in Switzerland
Switzerland's largest bank, UBS, has announced new rules for remote work. Employees will now be required to work from the office at least three days each week. Additionally, UBS has prohibited remote work on Mondays and Fridays. This decision is similar to the policy recently adopted by Deutsche Bank. In the United States, JPMorgan Chase continues to enforce a strict five-day office workweek. The bank has also rejected requests from employees to ease these work rules. These moves reflect a trend among major banks to encourage in-person attendance as a way to boost collaboration and productivity.
