UK broadband survey highlights Zen Internet as best provider
Major broadband providers in the UK have been ranked from best to worst ahead of significant price hikes expected next month. A survey conducted by Which? revealed that smaller providers are often outperforming larger companies in customer satisfaction ratings. Virgin Media received the lowest score of 60% from customers, with many complaining about long wait times for assistance. BT made a slight improvement to 62%, but this still left them near the bottom of the table. Sky and TalkTalk were not much better, scoring 62% and 61% respectively, due to issues with connection speed. In contrast, Zen Internet topped the list with a score of 77%. They were praised for excellent customer service, and most of their customers would recommend them. The Which? survey involved 4,000 broadband users who provided feedback on factors such as service quality and value for money. Smaller providers like Zen Internet and Utility Warehouse received accolades for better customer service and clearer pricing. With broadband prices set to rise in April, experts advise switching providers if you are unhappy with your current service. Customers nearing the end of their contracts can often find better deals. Broadband providers themselves emphasize efforts to improve service quality, but many customers remain dissatisfied. In response to the survey, Virgin Media stated they are focused on enhancing customer support and resolving complaints quickly. BT highlighted its reliable speeds and commitment to customer service. Zen Internet’s CEO encouraged customers to explore better options if they are unhappy with their current provider. As many customers face impending price increases, it is important to shop around for better deals or inquire about lower rates with existing providers.
