Ukraine intercepts 69 drones and two missiles in overnight Russian assault

Ukraine's air force reported that it shot down 69 out of 73 Russian drones during an overnight attack on September 28, 2024. This included two ballistic and two cruise missiles, all of which were intercepted. Around 15 drones were destroyed near Kyiv, with some debris causing damage to a non-residential building. No casualties have been reported from the incident.
