Ukraine launches U.S.-made missiles at Russia for first time in conflict
Ukraine has reportedly fired six U.S.-made ATACMS missiles at Russia's Bryansk region, marking the first use of these weapons inside Russia during the ongoing conflict. This development comes as Russia's President Putin has lowered the threshold for nuclear weapon use. The Ukrainian military claimed to have hit a military weapons depot in Bryansk, while Russia stated it intercepted five missiles and reported no casualties from falling debris. Both sides' claims remain unverified. In Ukraine, recent Russian strikes have killed at least 12 people, including a child, in residential areas. Ukrainian President Zelenskyy emphasized the need for a strong response to Russia's continued aggression and outlined plans to enhance military capabilities.
