Ukraine reports nine dead in Russian drone strikes on Sumy hospital

Ukrainian officials report that nine people were killed in two Russian drone strikes on a hospital in Sumy. The attacks occurred on Saturday morning and again during the rescue operation, injuring at least 12 others and damaging the building. The strikes targeted the Saint Panteleimon hospital, which was housing patients and staff at the time. Three floors of the four-storey building were partially destroyed, and a fire broke out but was later contained. Sumy has faced frequent Russian attacks recently, located about 30 kilometers from the Russian border. The Russian defense ministry confirmed strikes in the region but did not address the hospital incident.
