Ukraine strikes military targets in Russia with British missiles for first time
Ukraine has launched British Storm Shadow missiles at military targets in Russia for the first time, according to a Western official. This action follows Russia's deployment of North Korean troops, which the UK views as an escalation of the conflict. Fragments of the missiles were found in the Russian village of Marino, Kursk. Previously, Ukraine had only used these missiles within its own territory. The Storm Shadow missiles can travel 150 miles and are designed to evade air defenses. Market reactions have been mixed, with stocks declining while gold prices rise slightly. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy reiterated his commitment to removing all Russian soldiers from Ukraine.
