Ukraine targets Russian weapons depot in Bryansk region, military reports
Ukraine's military reported a successful strike on a large Russian weapons depot in the Bryansk region, over 110 km from the Ukrainian border. The attack resulted in 12 secondary explosions, according to a statement from Kyiv's military. This strike follows recent U.S. approval for Ukraine to use American-supplied weapons for operations deep within Russia. However, it is unclear if U.S. weapons were involved in this specific attack. In response, Russia's defense ministry claimed to have shot down 16 Ukrainian drones in the Bryansk region on the same day. Ukraine frequently employs drones to target locations inside Russia.
