Ukrainian soldier shoots down Russian missile during major attack
A Ukrainian soldier, Nataliia Hrabarchuk, successfully shot down a Russian cruise missile during her first combat launch. The incident occurred on Sunday amid a large-scale Russian attack, with Hrabarchuk using an Igla air defense system. Ukraine's air force reported that it intercepted 102 missiles and 83 drones during the attack, which involved around 210 missiles and drones. This marked one of the largest assaults in the ongoing conflict. The strikes resulted in at least 10 fatalities, including eight in Sumy, and caused extensive damage to Ukraine's energy and military infrastructure.
