Ukrainian women find community in County Wexford

Four Ukrainian women living in County Wexford, Ireland, are adjusting to life away from their war-torn homeland. They share their experiences of finding community and purpose while navigating their feelings of love for both Ukraine and Ireland. Olga, Sasha, Nonna, and Oleksandra express their initial unfamiliarity with Ireland. They initially only knew about St Patrick, leprechauns, and Guinness. Now, they are becoming part of the local community through work and volunteering. Despite their new lives, the women often feel torn. Their strong connection to Ukraine remains, especially as their home country faces war. Yet, they also feel gratitude for the support and kindness they receive in Ireland.
