Ultraviolette Tesseract electric scooter books 50,000 units in India

A new electric scooter called the Ultraviolette Tesseract has become very popular in India. It features cutting-edge technology, including radar and an integrated dashcam. The scooter offers the highest range in its category. Launched earlier this month, the Tesseract had an introductory price of Rs 1.20 lakh for the first 10,000 customers. In just 48 hours after the announcement, bookings exceeded 20,000. The company then extended this price to the first 50,000 customers. As of today, Ultraviolette announced they have received 50,000 bookings within two weeks of launching the scooter. The Tesseract is available with three battery options. The smallest is a 3.5 kWh battery, offering a range of 162 km. The next option is a 5 kWh battery, providing a range of 220 km. The largest option, a 6 kWh battery, promises a range of 261 km. Safety features on the Tesseract include radar-assisted systems that help prevent crashes. These features consist of blind-spot detection, overtaking assist, and lane change alerts. The scooter also has real-time collision alerts and a traction control system for added safety. With bookings now reaching 50,000, the price for additional orders is set at Rs 1.45 lakh. The specific prices for each variant will be announced in the fourth quarter of 2025. Delivery of the Tesseract is expected to begin early next year, and bookings remain open for a token fee of Rs 999.
