UN agency halts Gaza aid deliveries after looting at key crossing
The UN agency for Palestinian refugees, UNRWA, has paused aid deliveries through the Kerem Shalom crossing into Gaza due to looting by armed gangs. This crossing is the main route for cargo shipments into the enclave. Medics report that at least 15 Palestinians were killed in Israeli airstrikes in Gaza on Sunday. The strikes included attacks in Nuseirat, Gaza City, Khan Younis, and Rafah, contributing to a total of over 44,000 deaths in Gaza since the conflict began. In the West Bank, an Israeli airstrike reportedly killed several people traveling in a vehicle near Jenin. The Israeli military stated the strike targeted militants in the area, which has seen increased military operations since the conflict escalated last year.
