UN reports no aid reaches northern Gaza in 40 days as conditions worsen
The UN reports that no aid has reached northern Gaza in 40 days, worsening conditions for around 75,000 people. Bakeries and kitchens have closed due to supply shortages, raising concerns about imminent famine in the region. Attempts by UN agencies to deliver aid have been largely blocked by Israeli authorities. Of 31 planned missions, 27 were rejected, and the remaining four faced significant obstacles. Access to hospitals is also severely limited, with critical shortages of medical supplies. Despite some aid deliveries, many families remain displaced and without basic necessities. The situation has led to increased malnutrition cases among children, with hospitals struggling to provide even minimal healthcare.
