The Vishrambaug police have filed a case against a family for illegally entering three sealed properties. This incident happened on March 17 and involved a flat and two shops. The properties were sealed by Aditya Birla Housing Finance Limited as ordered by the district collector. The complainant, Samadhan Shivaji Patil, reported that Ashay Arvindbhai Shah, Snehal Ashay Shah, and Yash Shah broke the seals and were using the properties when police arrived. The police have charged them under various sections of the Bharati Nyay Sanhita (BNS). In a separate case, Chatushrungi police have also lodged a case against ten people for unauthorized entry into a flat owned by Manish Eknath Morankar. This property was also sealed due to loan default. The accused broke the seal and replaced it with their own lock while using threats. The suspects include Kiran Pal Singh, Mahindra Pal Singh, and several others—six men and two women. The police have cited multiple BNS sections in this case as well.
