UNISOC introduces T8300 5G chip with satellite connectivity
UNISOC has introduced a new 5G chip called the T8300. This chip is designed to improve multimedia and gaming experiences for users worldwide. It is notable for being the first chipset from UNISOC to support both satellite communication and broadcasting for 5G networks. The T8300 chip is built on a 6nm architecture. It features an octa-core CPU that includes two powerful Arm Cortex-A78 cores and six energy-efficient Arm Cortex-A55 cores. This design offers a 28% boost in power efficiency compared to the previous model. The chip also includes a Mali G57 dual-core GPU, fast storage, and memory, boasting an impressive AnTuTu score of over 510,000. In terms of display, the T8300 supports Full HD+ resolution with a high refresh rate of 120Hz. It comes with advanced HDR technologies for improved visuals. The chip uses the latest Vivimagic imaging engine, which allows for high-quality photo processing and includes features to reduce noise in images. The T8300 is optimized for gaming through UNISOC’s Miracle Gaming Engine. This system helps improve performance by managing key components like graphics and memory. UNISOC has also collaborated with Tencent to ensure clear voice communication during gaming, even in weak network conditions. Additionally, the T8300 supports the latest 5G standards, providing extensive network compatibility from 2G to 5G. Its efficient design lowers power consumption by over 20% in typical 5G usage scenarios. The T8300 is part of a new product lineup from UNISOC, which includes other models that focus on performance and advanced technology.
