Unofficial election results show key victories in Guam, Palau, and Northern Mariana Islands
Unofficial election results are emerging from Palau, Guam, and the Northern Mariana Islands. In Palau, Surangel Whipps Jr. has reportedly won the presidency against former president Tommy Remengesau Jr. In Guam, Republican Delegate James Moylan is set to retain his seat in the US House, receiving 52.69% of the vote. The Republican Party will also hold a majority in the upcoming Guam Legislature, winning nine out of fifteen seats. In the Northern Mariana Islands, Kimberley King-Hinds is leading the race for the US House delegate, with 4,500 votes against Edwin Propst's 3,787. American Samoa is also holding elections today, with results anticipated later.
