Unreleased PS3 prototype of Until Dawn playthrough available
A full playthrough of an unreleased PlayStation 3 version of the game Until Dawn has been shared online. This version was initially designed to be a PS3 exclusive and used PlayStation Move controllers. The playthrough, which appears on the Digital Preservation YouTube channel, runs for four hours. It shows the game in a first-person perspective and features gameplay that shifts between different characters in the story. This is the first time a complete run of this prototype has been made public. The video includes some of the game's familiar elements, such as sound effects and music, along with many plot points from the final PS4 version. However, it also features placeholder voice work and some rough visuals, indicating the game was still in development. In related news, Ballistic Moon, the studio that made the recent remake of Until Dawn, has reportedly downsized significantly. Recently, it was said that only a few employees remain. The UK-based studio had confirmed layoffs last year as part of efforts to ensure its future after announcing the need to cut down its team.
