U.S. criticizes Israel for inadequate aid delivery to Gaza
The Biden administration is criticizing Israel for failing to improve humanitarian conditions in Gaza. With a 30-day deadline approaching, the U.S. has given Israel a "fail" grade for not meeting aid delivery requirements outlined by top officials.
Currently, only 71 trucks of aid are entering Gaza daily, far below the 350 trucks needed. The U.S. is also concerned about violence against Palestinians in the West Bank by extremist settlers and is urging Israel to take action against these incidents.
Additionally, the Israeli government has ended an agreement with the U.N. agency for Palestinian refugees, which the U.S. opposes. The U.N. emphasizes that this agency is crucial for providing aid in Gaza amid ongoing humanitarian crises.
