USDCAD maintains bearish trend, key levels breached
The USDCAD currency pair shows a continued bearish trend as it has fallen below key moving averages and retracement levels. The price is now under the 100-hour and 200-hour moving averages, as well as the 50% retracement level. Next support is at the 61.8% retracement level of 1.4299. Earlier attempts to break below a swing area in early March were unsuccessful, but recent price movements indicate a return to bearish momentum. To maintain this trend, USDCAD must stay below the broken moving average levels of 1.4383 and 1.4402. A rise above these levels could change the outlook to neutral or bullish.
