In Lucknow, the state government held a job fair as part of the 'Mission Rozgar' initiative. This event took place at the government ITI in Aliganj on Saturday. Five companies participated and offered jobs to 73 candidates. Another job fair was held at the Government Polytechnic. Here, 95 candidates from six different polytechnic institutes received job offers from various companies. Among the companies at the ITI fair were Pedgate Electronics and Elentec India, both from Noida, and Preet Group from Punjab. They offered salaries ranging from Rs 19,000 to Rs 30,000 per month, along with additional benefits. At the Government Polytechnic event, Maruti conducted a campus drive. Around 150 candidates attended, and 95 were hired. MA Khan, the training, counselling, and placement officer at ITI, noted that 'Mission Rozgar' aims to connect young people with jobs that match their skills. He emphasized that the job fairs successfully link youth with top private companies.
