Uttar Pradesh targets $1 trillion economy by 2030
Uttar Pradesh is working towards becoming a one trillion-dollar economy by the year 2030. To achieve this goal, the state needs a significant annual growth in its Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) of around 26 to 27 percent. This information was shared by Romal Shetty, the CEO of Deloitte South Asia, during the opening of the company's second office in the state. A big part of this economic growth plan involves investments in semiconductor plants and manufacturing hubs. These developments are expected to boost the state's economy considerably over the next few years. Uttar Pradesh's ambitious goal highlights the state's focus on industrial growth and attracting new investments as key drivers for its future.
