Uttar Pradesh to take action against protected harasser

Aparna Yadav, the vice-chairperson of the Uttar Pradesh State Women Commission, has vowed to take strong action against those protecting a college professor accused of sexual harassment. The professor, Rajneesh Kumar, has been allegedly exploiting female students for 20 years. Yadav expressed her shock upon learning about the accusations. A female student bravely reached out to the commission for help, prompting Yadav to promise that the accused will face justice. She stressed the importance of catching Kumar and identifying any accomplices. Yadav also mentioned plans for a campaign aimed at raising awareness among female students about how to handle harassment in educational institutions. She emphasized that the Chief Minister has instructed authorities to ensure justice for all women. The police have filed a report against Kumar after videos of his alleged misconduct surfaced online. Kumar has been suspended from his position at Seth Phool Chand Bagla PG College and is currently evading arrest. Authorities have formed teams to locate him.
