Uzo Aduba and Randall Park bonded on set

Actors Uzo Aduba and Randall Park have become good friends on the set of their new Netflix series, The Residence. They shared their experiences and first impressions of each other in a recent interview. Aduba plays Detective Cordelia Cupp, who investigates a murder at The White House. Park is cast as Edwin Park, a special FBI agent. Park was nervous about working with Aduba at first but quickly found her to be kind and funny. He said, "I just love her." Aduba praised Park as a talented actor and a great person. She mentioned how his strong values are evident in his character. Their friendship grew as they sang TV theme songs and even reminisced about nostalgic topics, like old Pizza Hut decor. The Residence features a large cast, including Giancarlo Esposito and Susan Kelechi Watson, and is based on a book by Kate Andersen Brower. The show is currently available for streaming on Netflix.
