Vaibhav Suryavanshi, a 13-year-old cricketer, has set a new record as the youngest Indian player to participate in a List A game. He achieved this milestone during his debut in the Vijay Hazare Trophy for Bihar against Madhya Pradesh. Suryavanshi, at 13 years and 269 days old, surpassed the previous record held by Ali Akbar since 1999. He has also previously become the youngest player to compete in the Ranji Trophy and represent India U19. In his debut match, Suryavanshi scored 4 runs off 2 balls. Bihar lost the match, managing only 196 runs, which Madhya Pradesh chased down easily.
