Viktor Gyokeres advised to choose Liverpool over Manchester United move
Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres is being advised to reject a potential move to Manchester United and instead wait for an opportunity with Liverpool. Gyokeres has excelled in Portugal, scoring 66 goals in 68 games since joining in 2023. Gyokeres has a significant exit clause of $105.7 million in his contract. While Manchester United's new coach, Ruben Amorim, is interested in signing him, Gyokeres has downplayed speculation about a move to Old Trafford, expressing contentment at Sporting. Liverpool has not yet pursued Gyokeres, as they may need to offload Darwin Nunez first. Meanwhile, Liverpool is reportedly close to signing defender Loic Bade and is also linked to Inter Milan striker Marcus Thuram.
