Visakhapatnam MP seeks solutions for traffic congestion

Member of Parliament M. Sribharat met with Union Minister Nitin Gadkari in New Delhi to discuss road projects aimed at improving traffic conditions in Visakhapatnam. The city is experiencing rapid growth, leading to increased traffic congestion that needs urgent attention. Sribharat pointed out that enhancing connectivity is particularly important for the upcoming Bhogapuram International Airport. He specifically requested a redesign of the entry ramp onto National Highway 16 at Anandapuram Junction. The MP noted that the current design causes significant traffic jams and that a better plan would help ease these issues. Additionally, they discussed the Visakhapatnam-Kharagpur Beach Corridor project, which is in the planning stage. Sribharat emphasized that Visakhapatnam is becoming a major economic and tourism hub. He believes that well-planned road infrastructure is essential for the city's growth and the airport's success.
