VIT-AP University hosts 12-hour hackathon event

VIT-AP University recently hosted a 12-hour hackathon called GoogleDevs Sprint 2K25. This event was organized in partnership with Google Cloud as part of the university's Digital Campus 2.0 initiative. Around 350 teams signed up to compete in the hackathon. After an elimination round, 160 teams were chosen to take part in the event. In the end, three teams stood out as the winners. Deepasikha Mishra, the event's convener, explained the importance of the hackathon. Siddharth Dalwadi, Regional Head - South at Google Cloud, shared how such events help prepare students for challenges they will face in the industry. Several university officials attended the event, including Vice-Chancellor S.V. Kota Reddy and Registrar Jagadish Chandra Mudiganti.
