VIT founder G. Viswanathan honored for honorary doctorate in Vellore

G. Viswanathan, Founder-Chancellor of VIT, was honored by Shiksha Kendra Matriculation Higher Secondary School and Shiksha Greenwoods School in Vellore for receiving an honorary doctorate from the State University of New York at Binghamton. The event took place at the Shiksha Kendra campus, where Principal J. Suhasini welcomed attendees. Chairman P.N.S. Thirunavukarasu gave a special address highlighting Mr. Viswanathan's achievements. Mr. Viswanathan emphasized the importance of understanding one's heritage and respecting parents and teachers. He encouraged students to contribute positively to society and appreciate the values passed down through generations.
