Vito the pug wins best in show at 2024 National Dog Show

Vito, a 2-and-a-half-year-old pug, won the 2024 National Dog Show on November 28. He triumphed over a Welsh terrier named Verde during the Thanksgiving Day broadcast on NBC. The event took place at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center. Vito first won in the toy breed category before securing the overall best in show title. This victory marks his 25th best-in-show win out of 75 competitions. His co-owners received a $20,000 cash prize. Previous winners include Stache, a Sealyham terrier, in 2023, and Winston, a French bulldog, in 2022. Vito's win highlights a new champion in the prestigious dog show.
