Vito the Pug wins Best in Show at 2024 National Dog Show

Vito the Pug has won Best in Show at the 92nd National Dog Show, marking the first pug victory in 20 years. Vito previously won Best of Breed at the Westminster Dog Show and the AKC National Show in 2023. The event featured 205 breeds and over 1,900 dogs at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center. Last year's winner was Stache, a Sealyham Terrier, who made history as the first of his breed to win. Finalists included Rupert (Berger Picard), Monty (Giant Schnauzer), Houston (Clumber Spaniel), The Zit (Ibizan Hound), and JJ (Lhasa Apso). Verde (Welsh Terrier) was awarded Reserve Best in Show.
