Vito the pug wins Best in Show at 2024 National Dog Show in Pennsylvania

Vito the Pug won Best in Show at the 2024 National Dog Show, defeating nearly 1,940 dogs from 205 breeds. This is the first time a pug has won this title since the show began in 2002. The competition took place at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, Pennsylvania. Vito's handler, Michael Scott, noted the pug's charming demeanor during the event. Vito triumphed over six finalists, including a clumber spaniel and a Welsh terrier. The show, a Thanksgiving tradition since 1933, also featured the debut of a new breed, the Lancashire heeler.
