Vivant Corp.'s income rose 20% to P2.4 billion
Vivant Corporation, based in Cebu, Philippines, reported a significant increase in net income for 2024. The company's income rose by 20% to a record high of P2.4 billion, mainly due to strong performance in its power business. The CEO of Vivant, Arlo Sarmiento, stated that 2024 was a standout year for the company. He highlighted that the energy sector experienced double-digit growth in earnings. Additionally, the company's teams focused on business development in both energy and water sectors to ensure future growth. Power generation was a key contributor to Vivant's success, accounting for 64% of last year's income, totaling P2.2 billion. The company also reported a significant increase in consolidated revenues, which rose by 48% to P12.2 billion. This growth was driven by higher sales volumes from various power generation assets, retail electricity supply, and its solar rooftop business.
