Von Miller likely to sign with Ravens soon

Von Miller, a well-known free agent edge rusher, is looking for a new team as he aims for another Super Bowl title. After spending three years with the Buffalo Bills, he was let go earlier this offseason. During his time with the Bills, Miller had a total of 14 sacks, showing he can still perform at a high level. Recent predictions suggest that Miller may join the Baltimore Ravens, who won the AFC North in 2024. The team is known for adding experienced defenders, especially in the front seven. Sports Illustrated mentions that while Miller might not be a full-time player anymore, he could be very effective in key moments, similar to a closer in baseball. Last season, the Ravens had a strong pass rush, finishing with 54 sacks, the second most in the NFL. However, questions remain about their leading sack producer, Kyle Van Noy, who is getting older. Additionally, Odafe Oweh, who excelled with ten sacks, may not replicate his success. Miller showed he can still make a difference last season with six sacks and an impressive pass-rush grade. At 36, he is likely to get a one-year contract worth between $10-$12 million. The Ravens currently have $11.2 million in cap space, which could allow them to sign him.
