Waaree Energies market cap exceeds ₹1 lakh crore as shares hit record high

Waaree Energies' market capitalization has surpassed ₹1 lakh crore after its shares rose 7.63% to a record high of ₹3,740.75 on November 5. The stock has increased 47% since its debut on October 28. The company went public at ₹2,550, significantly above its IPO price of ₹1,503. It has seen consistent gains, closing higher in all trading sessions since listing, amid a broader market correction. Waaree Energies, a major player in India's solar energy sector, reported a 69% increase in revenue for Fiscal Year 2024, reaching ₹11,398 crore. Its profit after tax more than doubled to ₹1,274 crore.
