Waaree Energies shares surged 10.95% on investor confidence
Waaree Energies saw a big jump in its stock price, rising 10.95% to ₹2,358. Investors are increasingly confident in the company's future in green hydrogen and renewable energy. Analysts expect Waaree's revenue to grow by 30% annually and its earnings to increase by 54% from 2024 to 2027. Renewable energy stocks experienced a broad rally this week, as major market indexes NIFTY and SENSEX rose over 4%. Every company in the green energy sector reported gains between 1% and 13%. KPI Green Energy led the pack with a notable 13.24% increase, closing at ₹427.8. This surge came after it secured ₹272 crore in funding from the National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development for a new hybrid power project in Gujarat. Adani Green Energy rose 9.54% to ₹957, following its announcement of a new 250 MW solar power project in Rajasthan. This project boosts Adani’s total renewable generation capacity to over 12,841 MW. NTPC Green Energy Ltd closed 6.49% higher at ₹102.5. Its subsidiary is working on a 550 MW solar project in Rajasthan, indicating strong growth in the sector. Inox Wind rose by 5.59% to ₹171.49 after winning a contract for a wind energy project in Tamil Nadu. Premier Energies gained 3.02% to ₹915, as it increases production of solar cells in Telangana. Acme Solar Holdings had a small gain of 0.46% to ₹202, partnering with GREW Solar to expand its renewable portfolio in Rajasthan to 2.54 GW. Investors are urged to keep an eye on these companies for potential future developments.
