Waikiki shooting suspect charged with reckless endangering
A 19-year-old man has been charged following a shooting incident in Waikiki. Ngaselo Nethon faces charges of first-degree reckless endangering and a firearms offense. His bail is set at $100,000. The shooting occurred on March 16 at about 9:42 p.m. Police reported that Nethon fired a gun at the corner of Kalakaua and Seaside avenues. This action endangered the lives of nearby people. Fortunately, there were no injuries from the shooting, but it did result in a shattered window at a nearby business. Nethon was arrested on Thursday around 8:21 p.m. in Kalihi. Initially, police were investigating the case as attempted murder in the second degree, but charges have since changed.
