Waltair DRM inspects railway amenities in Andhra Pradesh
The Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Lalit Bohra inspected railway stations in the Waltair Division on Thursday. His visit focused on the development of facilities and services for passengers in the Duvvada-Naupada-Paralakhemundi area. Mr. Bohra began at Duvvada railway station. He looked at the progress of different development projects and assessed passenger amenities. The inspection also included a review of operational improvements from Duvvada to Naupada. At Paralakhemundi station, the DRM examined ongoing work under the Amrit Bharat Station program. This included checking waiting halls, railway offices, and foot overbridges. The final stop was Naupada railway station. Here, Mr. Bohra evaluated the current amenities and ongoing projects. He specifically looked at a new 12-metre-wide foot overbridge. Throughout his visit, he spoke with railway officials to gather their insights on improving services for passengers.
