Warner Bros. Discovery has appointed Allan Sperling as the new group vice president of programming, networks, and streaming for the Nordic region. He will be based in Stockholm and oversee operations in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland. Sperling brings extensive experience from previous roles at MultiChoice Group, Showmax, and Viacom International. He will focus on strategic planning and local production for the company's Max platform, aiming to cater to Nordic audiences. Christina Sulebakk, managing director of WBD Nordics, expressed confidence in Sperling's leadership and vision. Sperling stated his commitment to enhancing local content and collaborating with teams in the region.
