Warner Bros. restructures leadership following disappointing film results
Warner Bros. has made significant changes in its leadership following disappointing film performance last year. Marketing chief Josh Goldstine and international distribution head Andrew Cripps have both announced their departures. The studio's restructuring comes as CEO David Zaslav emphasizes the importance of the film unit amid nearly $40 billion in debt. Warner Bros. produced only two of the top ten movies last year, with major releases underperforming. Jeff Goldstein will now manage all theatrical distribution, while Dana Nussbaum and Christian Davin will temporarily lead the global marketing team. John Stanford will take on the interim role for theatrical creative advertising.
