Water bombers combat bushfire in Woodvale, Perth

A fire broke out early Sunday morning in Yellagonga Regional Park in Woodvale, located in Perth's northern suburbs. The fire began just before 1 AM near the intersection of Woodvale Drive and Wanneroo Road. Water bombers were quickly deployed to combat the flames. By around 7 AM, multiple aircraft were dropping fire retardant to help contain the blaze. Currently, there is a bushfire advice warning for the area bordered by Wanneroo Road, Whitfords Avenue, Duffy Terrace, and Woodvale Drive.
