"Way Back Love" explores high school friendships and romance
TVING plans to launch a new series called "Way Back Love." The show gives viewers a peek into the high school lives of its main characters. It is based on a novel and mixes fantasy with romance. The story follows Kim Min Ha’s character, Hee Wan, who is 24 years old. Hee Wan has withdrawn from society after losing her will to live. Just days before she contemplates death, her childhood friend, Ram Woo, portrayed by Gong Myung, appears as a grim reaper. Recently released pictures show the strong bond between the characters during their high school years. One image features Ram Woo and Hee Wan under a night sky, highlighting a sweet moment of first love. Another photo captures Hong Seok, played by Jung Gun Joo, and Tae Kyung, played by Oh Woo Ri, sharing a fun moment with quirky sunglasses. The promotional images also hint at deeper relationships among the group. Ram Woo appears more serious while Hee Wan and Tae Kyung display tough expressions. Both Ram Woo and Hee Wan have adorable tattoos, sparking interest about their significance. The series promises to explore these connections further. "Way Back Love" will premiere its first two episodes on April 3.
