Westland Heating secures naming rights for Avon stadium

Westland Heating and Air Conditioning + Plumbing has secured naming rights for the Avon high school stadium, replacing Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet. The agreement includes a $15,000 initial payment and $25,000 annually for five years, plus a $25,000 donation to the performing arts program. A new sushi restaurant, Funshi Sushi Ramen Boba, will open in Avon Commons, featuring conveyor belt sushi and other menu items. An official opening date has not yet been announced. Avon plans to add a third Dunkin' location near Take 5 Car Wash, pending approval at the March 19 Planning Commission meeting. The proposed shop will include a drive-thru.
