A man from Westminster has been arrested in Delaware for home improvement fraud. Dylan Crew, 26, is accused of taking over $1 million from clients for renovation projects that he never completed. He ran a business called Coastline Contractors Group, LLC. Crew faces 12 felony charges. These include three counts of home improvement fraud over $100,000 and two counts involving victims who are elderly or disabled. He also faces charges for property theft. He turned himself in to police on March 13 after detectives obtained warrants. He has since been released on a $132,000 unsecured bond. The investigation into Crew started in October when detectives found he had failed to meet obligations on six contracts for home construction. Coastline Contractors Group is linked to several addresses in Delaware and Sykesville. The business is not accredited by the Better Business Bureau. Delaware police are asking anyone with information or who believes they’ve been defrauded to come forward by calling 302-856-5850.
