Wet Leg announces U.S. shows in New York and Los Angeles
Wet Leg, a British indie-rock duo, is making a comeback in the U.S. with two shows. The group, formed by Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers in 2019, announced their return on social media. They invited fans to join them for special nights in New York City and Los Angeles. The New York City show is scheduled for March 31 at Brooklyn's Market Hotel. The Los Angeles performance will take place on April 8 at The River in Frogtown. Fans can sign up for ticket access on Wet Leg's website. These concerts will be their first since August and will be followed by more performances in the U.K. and Europe this summer. Earlier this week, Wet Leg was active on social media, posting a message saying, "we're so back." They encouraged fans to visit their website for clues about their new era. A mysterious message invited fans to "Moisturizer Valley," prompting curiosity. The band also shared a snippet of a new song, but no release date has been set. Wet Leg gained fame in 2021 with their debut single "Chaise Longue." The song was a hit, reaching the Alternative Airplay and Rock Airplay charts. Their self-titled debut album was released in 2022 and reached No. 14 on the Billboard 200. They were nominated for best new artist at the 2023 Grammys and won awards for their music. Wet Leg has also opened for major artists like Harry Styles and the Foo Fighters.
