Whole Foods recalls mac and cheese bites nationwide
Whole Foods is recalling its 365 Whole Foods Market Small Bites Macaroni & Cheese. The product may contain eggs and meat that were not listed on the packaging. This poses a serious risk for people allergic to eggs. The frozen mac and cheese bites were sold nationwide in 8.5-ounce cartons. They were available in stores from February 6 to March 11. The affected products have a best-by date of November 29, 2025, and can be identified by the UPC code 99482499709. So far, no illnesses have been reported. The recall was initiated after a customer complained about finding meat in the product. The issue has since been resolved, and no other batches are affected. Customers who have these bites are advised to destroy them. They can bring a valid receipt back to Whole Foods for a full refund. For more information, consumers can contact C.H. Guenther & Son at 1-210-227-1401.
