Wightman sisters excel in Thiel women's lacrosse
Thiel junior Hayden Wightman initially hesitated to attend college and play lacrosse, having not participated in varsity sports in high school. However, her family's involvement in the sport motivated her to join the team. Hayden has teamed up with her sister Ashlyn, who recently set a school record by scoring her 300th goal. The Tomcats have started the season strong with a 3-0 record, thanks in part to Ashlyn's impressive performance. Their father, Bill Wightman, coaches the team while balancing his role as a father. He appreciates the time spent with his daughters during the commute, while also allowing them independence in their athletic pursuits.
