William Prince to receive music honour from Canada's Walk of Fame

William Prince, a country-folk singer from Peguis First Nation, will receive the Allan Slaight Music Impact Honour from Canada's Walk of Fame. This award recognizes Canadian musicians who positively influence the music industry. Prince is acknowledged for his contributions, including hosting "A Day to Listen" in 2023 and writing a song for the 40th anniversary of Terry Fox's Marathon of Hope. Alan Doyle, the frontman of Great Big Sea, will perform one of Prince's songs at the ceremony on November 20.
