William Shatner has returned as Captain Kirk in a new eight-minute short film titled "765874 - Unification," now available on YouTube. This film commemorates the 30th anniversary of "Star Trek: Generations," where Shatner last portrayed the character. The short explores Kirk's journey after his death on an uninhabited planet, featuring a de-aged version of the character. It includes no dialogue, focusing instead on Kirk's emotional experience in an otherworldly realm, enhanced by music from composer Michael Giacchino. At 93 years old, this may be Shatner's final appearance as Kirk. Paul Wesley now plays a younger version of the captain in "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds."
