Willie Mullins enters six horses for Cheltenham Festival
Willie Mullins will enter six horses in the Michael O’Sullivan Supreme Novices’ Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival, with Kopek Des Bordes as the favorite. Paul Townend will ride him, while Patrick Mullins will partner Salvator Mundi. Mullins also has another favorite, Majborough, in the My Pension Expert Arkle Challenge Trophy Novices’ Chase. He has won both of his previous races over fences, including a recent victory at Leopardstown. In the Close Brothers Mares’ Hurdle, Lossiemouth, a two-time Cheltenham winner, will compete alongside other strong Irish contenders. British entries include Nicky Henderson's Jango Baie and Joyeuse, who was added after a recent win.
