Wiremu Pinn wins two races at Trentham

Wiremu Pinn had a successful day at the races, winning twice, including a key event called the Wellington Guineas. At Trentham, the excitement peaked in the final race. Glamour Tycoon was up against Platinum Lightning in a tight finish for the Listed Bill Tito Book Repair Specialist Lightning Handicap. The two four-year-olds fought fiercely, but Glamour Tycoon pulled ahead just in time to win. This marks her second win at the Listed level after winning the O’Learys Fillies’ Stakes when she was three. Pinn, who rides for trainer Stephen Marsh, expressed his happiness with the win. He has recently formed a strong partnership with Marsh, having also guided their horse El Vencedor to two Group 1 victories. Pinn shared his thoughts on Glamour Tycoon, saying, “I love her.” He also appreciated the support he’s received from Marsh and hopes to ride more of their top horses in the future.
